Edenville Energy installs water purifier at Rukwa

(Sharecast News) - Tanzania coal project developer Edenville Energy said on Thursday that, further to the announcement it made on 17 December, the Lamella clarifier water treatment plant that had been installed at its Rukwa Coal Project was now fully operational.The AIM-traded firm said the Lamella water treatment plant had been designed to enhance the quality of the water and reduce the amount used in the project's coal processing, along with ensuring that the project site was following recognised international environmental practices."Management believe this plant will improve both water qualities in the plant process and in the return ponds, which in turn should lead to increased coal processing plant productivity," the Edenville board said in its statement.
