easyHotel appoints new CEO

(ShareCast News) - Hotel owner and operator easyHotel has appointed Guy Parsons as its new chief executive, the company said on Friday.Parsons, who has over 25 years of experience in the industry and is the current chief of Travelodge, a company he joined in 2004, will replace outgoing CEO Simon Champion.The London-listed company said Parsons will step into his new role on 10 August."I am delighted to welcome Guy as chief executive officer," said group chairman Jonathan Lane."As an experienced chief executive in the hotel industry, he is ideally suited to advance the easyHotel brand."Guy's hotel, marketing and development skills will be a great addition to the senior management team at easyHotel."easyHotel shares were down 0.70% to 71.00p at 1152 BST on Friday.
