LONDON (Alliance News) - Eastbridge Investments PLC on Wednesday said it has made its maiden investment, acquiring 50 units of the Tranche B Helix Securitisation Fund for GBP500,000.
The notes yield 9.85% per annum, Eastbridge said.
Helix Investment Management SLP, a specialist structured finance company based in Luxembourg, played a key role in changing Eastbridge Investments back in October.
The change meant the London-listed entity ditched its policy of investing in real estate in favour of asset-backed or insured equity and debt instruments which make regular cash payments.
Shares in Eastbridge were untraded at 0.375 pence on Wednesday.
