Dollar strength helps XP Power

XP Power, which manufacturers power controllers for electrical equipment, said the strong US dollar has helped keep revenues for the first four months of 2008 in line with those of the same period the previous year.The firm said it had also benefited from new programmes secured from existing blue chip customers.It added that strong gross margins have been maintained as a result of more of its own in-house developed products being sold.
