DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Vodafone Executive Sells For GBP1.5 Million

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Monday.

Vodafone said Business Development Director Warren Finegold sold GBP1.5 million worth of stock in the FTSE 100 mobile communications company.

Finegold sold 650,000 shares at 229.5 pence a share on Monday. The stock closed up 0.7% at 230.03p Monday.

Vodafone said in March that Finegold will step down from its executive committee at the end of June.

He will continue to act as an adviser to Vodafone's board and executive committee on future strategic projects from July onward

Postal operator Royal Mail Group said Non-Executive Director Orna Ni-Chionna bought 9,321 shares at GBP5.323 each on Friday. Following this transaction, Ni-Chionna holds 12,634 shares, which equals 0.0012% of the issued share capital. The stock closed up 1.1% at 537.08p Monday.

Electra Private Equity said interim Chief Executive Officer Edward Bramson bought GBP175,014 worth of shares in the London-listed investment trust. Bramson acquired 4,605 shares through investment vehicle Sherborne Investors at 3,801p each last Tuesday and Wednesday. The purchase increases Bramson's shareholding to 11.4 million shares, or a 28.37% stake. Bramson, who controls just over a quarter of Electra through Sherborne, won a place on the trust's board in November last year on his second attempt to win the backing of other shareholders. Then in May, Bramson was named as unpaid interim chief executive officer of Electra. The stock closed up 0.5% at 3,835.00p Monday.

Kennedy Wilson Europe Real Estate said Chief Executive Officer Mary Ricks bought 20,000 shares at 1,057p per share on Friday. Following the GBP211,400 purchase, Ricks holds 160,916 shares in the FTSE-250 listed property investor. The stock closed up 1.1% at 1,062.00p Monday.

Computacenter said Chairman Greg Lock acquired shares in the information technology and infrastructure services provider. Greg Lock bought 4,700 shares on Friday at 840.5p per share. He also bought an additional 4,000 shares at 837.5p per share and 3,060 shares at 36.5p per share on Thursday. The company also said Rosemary Lock, a connected person of Greg Lock, on Thursday purchased 4,940 shares at 836.5p each. She also purchased 1,900 shares at 840.5p each on Friday. Following these purchases, Greg Lock's beneficial holding is 478,600 shares, equal to a 0.39% stake. The stock closed up 0.2% at 839.94p Monday.

Dechra Pharmaceuticals said Non-Executive Director Tony Rice bought 20,000 shares at an average price of GBP11.407 each on Friday. The highest price paid was GBP11.434 and the lowest was GBP11.38 a share. The purchase is his only holding after being appointed in April. The stock closed down 0.6% at GBP11.27 Monday.

Norish said Managing Director Kieran Mahon bought 112,500 shares at 35p per share on Friday. Following the purchase, Mahon now holds beneficial interest in a total of 2.0 million shares, equivalent to a 6.63% stake in the group. The stock closed up 4.0% at 36.25p Monday.

Porta Communications said Chairman Bob Morton acquired 500,000 shares at a price of 5.75p per share through Hawk Investments Holdings, a company beneficially owned by Morton and his wife, last Wednesday. Following this transaction, Morton is beneficially interested in 44.9 million shares in Porta representing a 16.10% stake in the group. Shares in the AIM listed marketing and communications business closed up 7.7% at 5.66p Monday.

Oil and gas exploration company Jupiter Energy said Vitoria Pty, a vehicle connected to Chairman Geoffrey Gander, sold 1.2 million shares at a price AUD0.25 each on Friday. The shares were sold for the purposes of general financial management, the company said. Following the sale, Gander has an indirect beneficial holding of 811,112 shares, held through Vitoria Pty and the Gander Super Fund. Jupiter Energy shares closed down 3.1% at 10.30p Monday.
