DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: 3i Group CEO Buys GBP2.4 Million In Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Friday.----------3i Group said Chief Executive Simon Borrows bought 250,000 shares in the company in a deal on Thursday. Borrows purchased the shares at 970 pence each for a total of GBP2.4 million.Shares in the investment company closed up 1.3% at at 989.00p. ----------Genus said Chief Operating Officer Bill Christianson bought 30,000 shares. Christianson purchased the shares at 2,578.58 pence each for a total consideration of GBP773,400. Shares in the animal genetics company closed down 0.2% at 2,554.00p.----------Old Mutual said the head of its Emerging Markets arm bought shares worth ZAR742,755 in a transaction on Thursday. Mthandazo Moyo purchased 17,580 shares in Old Mutual at a price of ZAR42.25 each. It gave no details as to his prior or subsequent holding. Old Mutual shares closed down 0.2% on Friday at ZAR42.00 each.----------Fevertree Drinks said Non-Executive Director Kevin Havelock bought 9,000 shares in two separate transactions for a total consideration of GBP252,300. In the first purchase of shares, Havelock acquired 5,000 shares at 2,806.45 pence each. The following 4,000 were priced at 2,806.72p. Shares in the tonic water producer closed up 2.4% at 2,822.00p.----------Spirent Communications Non-Executive Director Edgar Masri bought 20,000 shares. Masri purchased the shares at 117.56 pence each for a total consideration of GBP23,500. Prior to the transaction, Masri did not own any shares in the company. Spirent shares closed up 0.5% at 117.40p.----------Brewin Dolphin Holdings, a wealth management company, said Non-Executive Director Caroline Taylor purchased 5,000 shares at a price of 385.00 pence per share on Thursday. It has not been disclosed how many shares Taylor now holds in the company following the GBP19,250 deal. Shares in Brewin Dolphin closed down 0.9% at 384.00 pence each.----------Speedy Hire, which provides equipment rental, said non-executive director David Shearer purchased 100,000 shares in two transactions at an aggregate price of 59.4 pence per share. It has not been disclosed how many shares Shearer now holds in the company following the GBP59,452 deal. Shares in Speedy Hire closed up 3.5% at 60.00p each.----------Hargreaves Lansdown said its chief investment officer and commercial director both sold shares for a combined worth of GBP10.5 million. Commercial Director Ian Hunter sold 410,262 shares at 1,952.15 pence for a total of GBP8 million. Lee Gardhouse, who currently serves as chief investment officer, sold 128,066 shares at 1,952.15p for GBP2.5 million. Annette Dampier, a person closely associated with Head of Research Mark Dampier, sold 102,452 shares at the same price for GBP2 million. Shares closed up 0.5% at 1,950.00p each.----------Avon Rubber said Leon Klapwijk bought shares in the rubber-based products manufacturer for a total of GBP19,696. Klapwijk, who currently serves as head Avon Rubber's protection division, bought 1,417 shares at 1,390 pence each. Avon Rubber shares closed up 1.4% at 1,440.00p.----------Van Elle Holdings said Group Operations Director Ian Jones and his wife Julie sold 430,000 shares between them at a price of 90.0 pence per share on Thursday. Ian sold 30,000 shares, while Julie disposed of 400,000 shares, for a total of GBP27,000 and GBP360,000 each. It has not been disclosed how many shares the Joneses now hold in total. Shares in the geotechnical engineering firm closed up 1% at 94.40p.----------Tyman said Non-Executive Director Mark Rollins bought 15,000 shares in the company on Thursday. Rollins purchased the shares at 330 pence each for a total consideration of GBP49,500. Shares in the building products supplier closed down 0.3% at 325.00p.----------British Land Co, a property development and investment company, said Non-Executive Director Preben Prebensen purchased 20,000 shares at a price of 698.81 pence per share. It has not been disclosed how many shares Prebensen now holds in the company following the GBP139,761 deal. Shares in British Land closed down 0.6% at 693.00p each.----------
