LONDON (Alliance News) - Legal and General PLC Tuesday said Chief Executive Nigel Wilson and a group of executives acquired shares at a price of 232.10 pence per share under the company share plan Monday.

Head of Treasury & Investments Paul Stanworth was awarded 141,509 shares at no cost under the company share plan and sold 66,510 shares at 231 pence each Monday.
Shares in the insurer closed down 1.4% at 230.00 pence Tuesday.
