DIRECTOR DEALINGS: GlaxoSmith Kline Executives And Managers Buy Shares, Awarded More

LONDON (Alliance News) - GlaxoSmithKline PLC Tuesday said several executives and managers bought shares in the company at a price of 1612.8925 pence per share on Monday and were awarded matching shares as part of the company's ShareReward Plan.

The pharmaceutical company said that Mrs K Thomson, a person connected to Senior Vice President for Global Communications Philip Thomson bought 2 shares and received a further 2 shares.

The company also said that Philip Thomson, Chief Executive Andrew Witty, Chief Financial Officer Simon Dingemans as well as Simon Bicknell, Roger Connor, David Redfern, Claire Thomas, Patrick Vallance, Emma Walmsley and Victoria Whyte bought 8 shares and were awarded another 8 shares.

GlaxoSmithKline shares closed up 1.0% at 1,637 pence Tuesday.
