LONDON (Alliance News) - Clarkson PLC on Friday said Chair Bill Thomas and Non-Executive Director Peter Backhouse both purchased shares in the shipping services company.
In two separate transactions on Tuesday, Thomas - chair since mid-February - acquired 2,083 shares at a price of 2,385 pence each, worth GBP49,680. Meanwhile, Backhouse - non-exec since 2013 - bought 3,000 shares at 2,396p each, totalling GBP71,800.
Shares in Clarkson closed 13% higher on Friday at 2,610.00p each.
Following the transactions, Thomas holds 2,083 shares in the firm while Backhouse holds 13,000 shares.
