Direct Line Hires Scottish Mortgage Investment Chair As Non-Executive

LONDON (Alliance News) - Direct Line Insurance Group PLC said Monday it appointed Fiona McBain as non-executive director with effect from September 1.

McBain is currently chairman of Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust PLC and non-executive director of Dixons Carphone PLC.

Shares in Direct Line were trading 1.7% higher at 327.90 pence each.
