LONDON (Alliance News) - DCD Media PLC said Monday that it has been commissioned by ITV PLC for a 60 minute documentary about "the world of competitive memory" entitled Total Recall.
DCD expectsthe commission to generate GBP200,000 in revenue to be recognised in the coming financial year.
The documentary will be produced by its US production company Rize Television Ltd, and will be a co-venture between DCD Media and Sheldon Lazarus. It will be produced and directed by Richard Macer and co-executive produced by Nick Shearman and Lazarus.
The documentary will follow "the stories of British hopefuls as they take on the challenge of competing against the world's leading memory athletes at the World Memory Championships in China in December 2014."
Production will be funded by a short term loan by DCD Media shareholder Timeweave Ltd of GBP200,000, to be repaid by April 30, 2015. Under the terms of the loan DCD expects to pay a total of GBP9,000 to Timeweave for associated costs and interest.
Shares in DCD Media are untraded Monday; it was last quoted at 242.50p.
