(Alliance News) - Datalex PLC on Friday named Steven Moloney as its new chief financial officer, effective from Monday.
Datalex is a Dublin-based software company, which specialises in digital retail technology for the airline market.
Moloney joins Datalex from &Open where he held the position of CFO.
Prior to this he spent nearly six years at Block Inc, formerly Square Inc, where he was CFO for the UK & Europe, and "led finance and strategy for the wider international business through a period of rapid growth."
Datalex added that Moloney has also held senior roles in Hostelworld Group PLC and Paddy Power, now part of Flutter Entertainment PLC.
Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Rocket said: "I am delighted that Steven has decided to join Datalex at this pivotal time in the company's evolution. His background as a financial, strategic and execution leader will be invaluable for Datalex as we build for the future growth of the company. Steven will be a strong addition to our team, as the group moves forward and the impact of our strategy starts to translate into our financial performance."
Shares in Datalex were flat at EUR0.46 each in London on Friday morning.
