Cerillion gets first contract through 'major' channel partner

(Sharecast News) - Billing, charging and customer relationship management software company Cerillion announced on Thursday that a major channel partner relationship had yielded its first contract, worth £5m, with a publicly-owned network operator in the Middle East.
The AIM-traded firm said the five-year agreement was part of a broader contract for telecoms and network products and services.

It said its 'Enterprise BSS/OSS Suite', its pre-integrated end-to-end customer relationship management and billing product, would be used to support a range of fixed-wire and mobile services, including fibre and internet-of-things (IoT), for B2B and residential customers.

The company said it believed the contract would underpin existing market expectations, and that there was potential for further expansion of the contract in due course.

Implementation work had already started, and was expected to take between 12 and 18 months.

As it was the first such deployment through the channel partner, Cerillion said it was remaining "closely involved" with the implementation.

"We are delighted to have secured our first major contract through this key channel partner, with this prestigious win," said chief executive officer Louis Hall.

"The selection of our solution for this complex project demonstrates the quality of our product and support capability, and our increasing recognition within the industry.

"We look forward to further agreements through this major channel partner in due course."

At 1454 GMT, shares in Cerillion were up 1.2% at 420p.
