LONDON (Alliance News) - Centaur Media PLC Wednesday said it has appointed a former music industry boss as its chief executive.
Andria Vidler, formerly CEO of EMI Music UK & Ireland, will start work as Centaur's new CEO on November 4.
The business information, events and marketing services group said Mark Kerswell, who has been interim chief executive since May 2013, will revert to being the group's finance director.
Centaur Media's future ownership has been a matter of speculation in recent weeks, after its former chief executive, Geoffrey Wilmot, said he was considering the possibility of making a takeover offer for the company.
Wilmot withdrew his interest on Tuesday.
Centaur Media shares were Wednesday morning quoted at 50.20 pence, down 4.4%.
