LONDON (Alliance News) - Castle Street Investments PLC said Thursday it intends to change its name to CORETX Holdings PLC, subject to shareholder approval at the company's annual general meeting on April 11.
Castle Street Investments said it is currently using three different company names, Castle Street Investments, Selection Services Ltd and C4L Ltd, after acquiring both C4L and Selection Services earlier this year, which "can be confusing for both customers and prospects, and does not support the strategy of presenting a unified portfolio of products and services from Selection Services and C4L to the market".
As such the company said it "believes it would be more effective to go to market under one brand", adding that it has no connection with Castle Street and its principle activities are "the provision of managed IT, network and hosting services to public and private companies".
Castle Street Investments said it chose CORETX Holdings as the new name because the CORETX network, built by C4L, is at the core of its activities.
Shares in Castle Street Investments were down 1.9% at 38.50 pence on Thursday.
