Carnival Upsizes Note Offerings To USD1.45 Billion And EUR500 Million

(Alliance News) - FTSE 250 constituent Carnival PLC on Monday said it has upsized a notes offering.

Carnival has priced the private offerings of USD1.45 billion 7.625% senior unsecured notes due 2026, and EUR500 million of 7.625% senior unsecured notes due 2026. This was increased from its previously announced offering of USD1.00 billion and EUR300 million, respectively.

The cruise operator expects to use the net proceeds from the offerings for general corporate purposes.

Shares in Carnival closed up 3.7% at 1,205.50 pence in London on Monday.
