Mon, 16th Nov 2020 14:02

(Alliance News) - Carnival Corp on Monday said it has completed the sale of 94.5 million shares under its USD1.5 billion "at-the-market" equity offering programme.

The USD1.5 billion program was announced Tuesday last week and is in addition to its sales of 67.1 million shares under a USD1.0 billion programme completed October 30.

The cruise operated noted that, as previously announced, net proceeds from both offerings will go towards general corporate purposes.

Shares in Carnival were up 11% at 1,195.00 pence in London on Monday afternoon.
