** Outperforms 5 percent rise in Stoxx 600 Oil & Gas after Shell's $70 bln deal to buy BG Group

** Galp is BG's partner in various deep-water projects in Brazil.

** "All of the sector benefits from the deal, but Galp has itsparticularities. The bid for its partner in Brazil helps crystallise the valueof those projects.
