(Sharecast News) - BT on Friday said it had won exclusive rights to broadcast all matches of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and new Europa Conference League until 2024.
The company said it would pay £400m a year, adding that its financial outlook for 2019/2020 remained unchanged. It added that it would pay a deposit of £80m in November 2019 with a further six cash payments from August 2021.
BT said the the deal involves 420 games, an increase of 77 from the previous deal, and includes highlights and in-match clips.
