LONDON (Alliance News) - British Smaller Companies VCT PLC and British Smaller Companies VCT2 PLC Friday said they have issued shares under their January offers for subscription after UK tax authorities HM Revenue & Customs clarified proposed changes to regulations.
On Thursday, British Smaller Companies VCT allotted 2.4 million shares at offer prices ranging from 100.75 to 105.51 pence per share, raising GBP2.5 million. British Smaller Companies VCT2 also allotted 2.4 million shares, at offer prices of between 68.00 to 71.22 pence, raising GBP1.7 million.
The two VCTs have raised GBP26.9 million gross, with GBP25.5 million net.
British Smaller Companies VCT raised GBP15.3 million net, with British Smaller Companies VCT2 raising GBP10.2 million.
