BP Whiting refinery operating normally after overhaul -source

HOUSTON, Dec 6 (Reuters) - BP Plc's 413,500-barrel-per-day (bpd) Whiting, Indiana, refinery wasoperating normally on Tuesday after completing a multi-unitoverhaul over the weekend, said a source familiar with plantoperations.

During 11 weeks of work, the largest and second largestcrude distillation units and the largest gasoline-producing unitwere shut for refurbishing at the refinery 18 miles (29.5 km)south of Chicago. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Jonathan Oatis)
