(Alliance News) - Bould Opportunities PLC on Friday said its interim loss narrowed and reported that its current investment discussions are progressing.
Shares in the company were 10% higher at 0.020 pence each in London on Friday morning.
The cash shell, formerly known as LED lighting solutions manufacturer Photonstar LED Group PLC, said that it "that is seeking new investment opportunities in a number of business areas including the health sector".
In the six months to June 30, Bould narrowed its pretax loss from continuing operations to GBP189,000 from GBP209,000, attributed solely to administrative expenses.
Chair Allan Syms said: "The group is in a good position to achieve its long term investment plans. Discussions are progressing towards reaching a decision soon on the investment and we will keep shareholders updated."
Within the six month period, the company raised GBP1.3 million in proceeds from share placings to fund potential investments.
