Bango Partners With MobileAction To Boost App Monetisation

Mon, 04th Nov 2019 11:43

(Alliance News) - Bango PLC on Monday said it has collaborated with MobileAction to boost in-app payment revenue for application developers through smart campaign targeting.

The AIM-listed mobile commerce company said MobileAction's community of app developers can now gain a "competitive advantage" by targeting their campaigns at the users most likely to spend in apps.

Bango said the smart campaign was created after analysing payment information across billions of dollars of in-app purchases. By applying Bango Audiences, the revenue generated from user acquisition campaigns has been proven to increase by between two to nine times compared to targeting audiences that do not offer payment insight.

In addition, Bango said MobileAction's developer community can take advantage of special offers on audiences listed in Bango Marketplace.

"App developers now have a unique way to boost revenue earned from in-app payments and other charging models by simply applying Bango Marketplace audiences to their existing campaigns," explained Ray Anderson, Bango chief executive.

Bango shares were trading 0.7% higher on Monday in London at 133.40 pence each.
