Avanti Wins Satellite Communications Deal With Turkey's isNet

LONDON (Alliance News) - Satellite data communications provider Avanti Communications Group PLC on Monday said it has secured a contract with isNet, a subsidiary of Turkish bank Isbank.

Under the deal, isNet will provide Ka-band satellite connectivity to business customers in Turkey and Europe using Avanti's HYLAS 1 and 2 satellites.

No financial details were disclosed.

"By providing services with unparalleled quality and flexibility we help ensure that businesses like isNet can meet the expectations of even the most demanding financial services sector customers," said David Williams, Avanti's chief executive.

Avanti shares were up 6.1% to 108.00 pence.
