Argentex Interim Performance Strong On Higher Client Numbers

Mon, 07th Oct 2019 09:20

(Alliance News) - Argentex Group PLC said Monday it has continued to grow since AIM stock listing, as has its trading subsidiary Argentex LLP.

For the period from June 25 to the end of September, Argentex - which provides foreign exchange services - generated GBP9.3 million in revenue.

Meanwhile, for the six months to the end of September, Argentex LLP reported revenue at GBP13.8 million, a 45% increase from GBP9.5 million.

Argentex's performance was driven by growth in client numbers and currency volumes traded.

"We are pleased with the company's performance during the period, which reinforces our confidence in meeting expectations for the current financial year and in the group's long-term prospects," said Chair Digby Jones.

Argentex will report its interim results on November 20.

Shares in Argentex were up 5.5% at 147.70 pence on Monday in London.
