Arc Minerals intersects additional mineralisation at Kalaba

Tue, 16th Oct 2018 08:52
(Sharecast News) - Further drilling at Arc Minerals's Kalaba asset has intersected additional copper mineralisation. The AIM-listed explorer revealed that four new holes at Kalaba, part of its Zamsort copper-cobalt project, had uncovered elevated copper grades of between 0.50% and 1.00%.Arc's 11,000-metre drilling programme at Kalaba was designed to create a shallow oxide resource for the firm's commercial-scale demonstration plant and to establish a maiden mineral resource estimate at the prospect.Executive chairman Nick von Schirnding, said: "The drilling to date demonstrates that at Kalaba the source and migration of the mineralising fluids has been quite extensive and we are now beginning to intersect some of the higher grade 'traps'.""Given the activity on the ground as well as the large number of samples that are currently being sent to the lab, we anticipate a strong pipeline of news flow and we look forward to updating shareholders on these developments."As of 0845 BST, Arc shares had picked up 1.90% to 3.95p.
