(Alliance News) - Arc Minerals PLC said Friday Finance Director John Forrest will retire with immediate effect, with Non-Executive Director Remy Welschinger replacing him.
Welschinger - a non-exec since June - will replace Forrest as finance chief immediately. A former sales director at Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and BNP Paribas, he co-founded Limehouse Capital in 2018.
"I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Remy as our finance director, someone I have worked closely with over the past few months," Arc Executive Chair Nick von Schirnding said.
"Remy brings a wealth of experience from the banking and mining sector and has played - and will continue to play - a key role in accessing capital for the company," von Schirnding added. "My thanks to John Forrest who has served the group over a number of years and we wish him well with his future endeavours."
Shares in Arc were 6.9% lower at 3.00 pence in London on Friday.
