Allied Minds Says Federated Wireless Partners With Amazon Web Services

Thu, 18th Jun 2020 10:48

(Alliance News) - Allied Minds PLC said its portfolio company Federated Wireless is partnering with Amazon Web Services to enable a new computing and data transfer device via its connectivity-as-a-service solution.

Amazon's AWS Snowcone is a portable device that allows customers to collect data, process it locally, and move it to AWS either offline by shipping the device to AWS, or online by using AWS DataSync to send the data to AWS over the network.

Federated Wireless launched its connectivity-as-a-service solution in February. It is the industry's first private 4G/5G wireless network solution purchased and deployed by a single click, Allied Minds said.

Allied Minds shares were trading 12% higher at 34.50 pence each on Thursday morning in London, but 37% lower than at the start of the year.
