Thu, 07th Nov 2019 18:00

(Alliance News) - Alfa Financial Software Holdings PLC said Thursday Non-Executive Director David Stead will resign as non-executive director with effect on December 6.

The asset finance-focused software firm said Stead's time commitment required for the role was greater than he is able to offer alongside his other commitments.

Stead has been part of Alfa Financial since August.

"We are sorry that David has decided to stand down from the board, but understand his reasons for doing so. We would like to thank David for his contribution during his time with us and we will miss him. A search for a replacement is under way. We will continue to strengthen and enlarge our high quality, balanced board, which will include a CFO as previously announced," said Chair Andrew Page.

Shares in Alfa Financial Software - which is headquartered in London - closed 0.6% higher at 83.50 pence on Thursday.
