TRADING UPDATES: Crimson Tide revenue up, Thruvision expects decline

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Crimson Tide PLC - Tunbridge Wells, Kent-based mobile software firm - For 2020, pretax profit rises 51% to GBP532,000 from GBP352,000 the year before, on revenue growing 21% year-on-year to GBP3.5 million from GBP2.9 million. Revenue growth was driven by new client wins, and expanded relationships with existing customers, in spite of Covid-19, which affected some of the smaller clients. Looking ahead, 2021 has started in line with company expectations. Also announces the raising of up to GBP6.0 million through a placing of 50.2 million shares at 3.0 pence each. Proceeds will go towards further developing the core mpro5 platform, and developed an app-based version for micro-sized businesses. Finncap Ltd will act as bookrunner.

Thruvision Group PLC - Abingdon, England people-screening security technology - Due to weak second half of year ended March 31 for Customs and Aviation sub-sectors due to Covid-19, expects annual revenue to be GBP6.7 million, down 16% from GBP8.0 million the year before, with a consequential effect on profitability. Looking ahead, expects recovery from Aviation, a resumption or orders in Customs in the next 12 moths, and continued growth from the Profit Protection market due to new orders and customers.

Worldsec Ltd - South East Asia-focused investment company - For 2020, expects to post profit attributable to owners at USD900,000, compared to losses in prior years, due to a change in the fair value of its holdings in the Unicorn Equity Investment Portfolio Class D shares, following an increase in the valuation of the underlying investment in Beijing ByteDance Technology Co Ltd.

Verditek PLC - London-based company producing solar panels - Enhances first generation product to increase power output to 300 watts, from 260 watts. Now looking to produce a more advanced panel capable of 350 watts per panel. Due to a rising power rating as well as the use of other components, new certification is required. This certification is expected in the second half of 2021. In addition, notes further delay of the delivery of the Intergroup Mining order first announced in September 2020 due to Covid-19.

March 31, capacity position for 2021 stands at GBP110.3 million.

InfraStrata PLC - London-based strategic infrastructure projects company - Books GBP6.5 million in revenue for eight months to the end of March, with further growth momentum expected. Harland & Wolff business achieves cash breakeven position within the Cruise & Ferry market and keeps such position since October 2020. Within market, contract value rise quarter-on-quarter, with average values now ranging from GBP600,000 to GBP1 million.

Pure Gold Mining Inc - Canadian gold miner - For the first quarter of 2021, processes 47,182 tonnes or ore, at a grade of 2.8 grams per tonne of gold, to produce 4,011 ounces at a 95% recovery rate, up from 860 ounces the prior quarter. Looking ahead, the company will assess ore throughput and gold production to determine when it will declare commercial production for the PureGold mine throughout the second quarter.

Tekcapital PLC - UK intellectual property investment company - Portfolio firm Lucyd Ltd, a wearable technology provider closes its regulation crowdfund, raising USD1.1 million from 3,800 investors. Proceeds will help with funding the development of the Lucyd Lyte e-glasses and the Vyrb app.

Victoria Oil & Gas PLC - natural gas producing utility operating in Cameroon - Recent weekday production at Cameroon operations reaches 5.5 to 6.0 million standard cubic feet per day gross gas, but with the usual daily and weekly fluctuations, with one customer returning having paid off aged debt, and one customer increasing its consumption for both power and thermal. Adds that at Matanda, well planning, procurement of long lead items and rig selection are underway, and the farmout process has commenced with several parties registering interest.
