Fri, 04th Apr 2025 14:15

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced this week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Vodafone Group PLC - Newbury, England-based telecommunications provider - Promotes Non-Executive Director Simon Segars to senior independent director, replacing David Nish, who will step down at the annual general meeting, following nine years on the board. Also adds Anne-Francoise Nesmes, the former chief financial officer of Smith & Nephew PLC, to board from the AGM. Vodafone holds its AGMs in July. Prior to medical devices maker S&N, where she was CFO from 2020 to 2024, Nesmes was CFO of amusement park operator Merlin Entertainments and of Dechra Pharmaceuticals.

----------

Redcentric PLC - Harrogate, North Yorkshire-based IT managed services provider - Its chief executive officer designate, Brian Woodford, leaves immediately "for personal reasons". Current CEO Peter Brotherton agrees to continue in the role until further notice. "During my time with the company, I've enjoyed working with varied clients and dedicated colleagues and wish the entire team continued success," says Woodford. He was named CEO designate in January this year and had been due to step into the CEO role following a two-month transition period.

----------

Walker Crips Group PLC - London-based stock broker - Hires Jo Welman to be non-executive chair, replacing Martin Wright, who will leave the board at the end of April. Welman was chief executive of Rea Brothers Investment Management before it was acquired by Close Brothers Group PLC in 1997. He also co-founded and chaired Brit Insurance Holdings PLC.

----------

Pitchford has been chair since Contango's listing in 2020. Yan Huo joins the board as a director, representing Contango's largest shareholder, Huo Investments (Pvt) Ltd, which has a 20.4% stake. Zimbabwe-based Huo owns 50% of Huo Investments and is the daughter of Wencai Huo, who owns the other 50%.

----------

EnergyPathways PLC - Worthing, England-based low-emissions energy - Hires Max Williams as finance director, board member, and company secretary. CFO Ben Hodges steps down from the board immediately "to pursue other interests" but will remain a consultant in coming months. Williams has 30 years experience in the energy and natural resources sectors, EnergyPathways says, including as finance director of London-listings Great Western Mining Corp PLC and Aminex PLC.

----------

Electric Guitar PLC - London-based company formerly involved in digital marketing and advertising and now AIM cash shell - Grahame Cook becomes non-executive chair amid wholesale board changes as Electric Guitar becomes a cash shell aiming to make an acquisition.
