UIL Limited - Closed-end Bermuda-incorporated investment company - Announces results for year to June 30. Reports revenue earnings per ordinary share of 6.68 pence, down 20% from 8.35p the year prior, while net asset value per share fell 23% to 199.87p from 260.89p. The dividend per share of 8.00p was unchanged from the previous year. Adds net income totalled GBP5.6 million, down 20% from GBP7.0 million. Explains the year has been challenging on the economic and geopolitical front. Notes market volatility has been driven by significant uncertainties in the face of rising inflation, increasing interest rates, rising climate change concerns, all exacerbated by the war in Ukraine and China's transition to no Covid restrictions earlier this year.
