TalkTalk To Raise GBP500 Million Through Notes Offering

(Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed TalkTalk Telecom Group PLC on Monday announced the offering of GBP500 million worth of senior notes due to mature in 2025.

The telecommunications & internet service provider said that the proceeds will be used to redeem the entire aggregate principal amount of its outstanding GBP400 million senior notes due in 2022 and to pay certain redemption premium and accrued but unpaid interest to note holders. The funds realised will also be used to repay certain amounts drawn under the company's revolving credit facility as well to pay costs, expenses and fees in relation to the offering and such refinancing transactions.

TalkTalk shares were down 0.8% at 119.10 pence each on Monday afternoon in London.
