Surgical Innovations Group PLC - medical products manufacturer - Pretax loss for six months to June 30 widens to GBP2.6 million from GBP326,000 loss a year ago, mainly due to a GBP1.4 million impairment charge. Revenue down 49% to GBP2.6 million. Current quarter revenue to date improved to more than 70% of prior year comparative. Markets continuing to recover ahead of management expectations. Additional new product development growth opportunities identified.
