LONDON (Alliance News) - Rambler Metals and Mining PLC Tuesday said it has has delivered about 5,400 wet metric tonnes of copper and gold concentrate from Goodyear's Cove, NL Canada.
In a statement, the mining and development company said its internal sampling estimates an average grade for the shipment of 27.8% copper, 10.9 grammes per tonne gold and 83 grammes per tonne silver.
Following the shipment, the company said it still has over 330 wet metric tonnes of concentrate in storage at its Goodyear's Cove Facility.
"Production continues as planned with the fourth shipment of concentrate delivered this calendar year bringing the total tonnes delivered to approximately 52,200 wmt since start-up in May 2012. Copper recoveries remain very stable allowing for continued focus on improving gold recovery which is evident in the slight increases in this shipment compared to the April and July deliveries," Norman Williams, president and chief executive, said in a statement.
Rambler Metals and Mining shares were Tuesday quoted down 1.5% at 24.75 pence per share.
