MOSCOW, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Russia's Sakhalin Energy said it
has halted the Piltun-Astokhskaya-B (PA-B) offshore oil and gas
production platform on Wednesday for one month of planned
maintenance.
During the preventive maintenance, the company will continue
producing oil, gas and condensate from its other platforms, and
plans to produce 2.1 million barrels, or approximately three
standard cargoes, of crude, the company said.
Oil and associated gas have been produced at the Piltun Area
of the Piltun-Astokhskoye oilfield since late 2008.
In 2019, its average daily production reached 29,400
barrels.
Equity holders in Sakhalin Energy include Gazprom,
Royal Dutch Shell, and Japan's Mitsui and
Mitsubishi Corp.
This month, Sakhalin Energy completed a month-long planned
maintenance at Molikpaq, another Pacific offshore oil and gas
platform.
