JOHANNESBURG, March 16 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell is pulling back from its shale projects in South Africadue to lower energy prices, its country manager said on Monday.
"The reason to go to a low cost holding position ... is as aresult of a difficult period for world (prices)," Shell SouthAfrica chairman Bonang Mohale told Johannesburg station TalkRadio 702. (Reporting by Ed Cropley; Writing by Joe Brock)
