Nov 22 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell has startedsupplying natural gas from the Clipper South field to Britain'sgas network, the company said on Thursday.
Shell is transporting the gas through its Clipper hub forprocessing at the company's Bacton terminal in Norfolk and thegas is then fed into Britain's National Grid, the company said.
The Ineos and Spirit Energy-owned Clipper South field islocated in the southern part of the British sector of the NorthSea in the Sole Pit area.
Under a new commercial agreement with Ineos and SpiritEnergy, Shell was remotely operating the Clipper South field,the company said.
