MOSCOW, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Russia's Sakhalin Energy company
said on Tuesday it has completed a month-long planned
maintenance at its Pacific offshore Sakhalin-2 Molikpaq oil and
gas platform.
"This year we implemented one of the most difficult tasks –
the upgrade of fire and gas detection system... Currently, the
platform's production system has been reinstated and is
operating at full capacity," Ole Myklestad, production director
of Sakhalin Energy, said in a statement.
Equity holders in Sakhalin Energy include Gazprom,
Royal Dutch Shell, and Japan's Mitsui and
Mitsubishi Corp.
