* Norway gas exports total 264 mcm/d * Deliveries to UK down to 59 mcm/d OSLO, June 12 (Reuters) - Norwegian pipeline gas exportswere broadly steady on Wednesday as a drop in flows to Britainwas offset by a rise to continental Europe, data from gassystem operator Gassco showed. Deliveries to Europe including Britain were at 264 millioncubic metres (mcm) by 0821 GMT versus an average of 265 mcm onTuesday. Supplies to Britain, Europe's biggest traded market, slippedby 8 mcm to 59 mcm, with flows through the 72 mcm capacityLangeled pipeline running at a rate of 23 mcm per day. British day-ahead gas prices dropped to their lowest levelsince last October on Tuesday due to oversupply as warm weathercurbed demand and ahead of a planned two-week closure of the IUKpipeline to Europe. Combined supplies to Germany and the Netherlands edgedhigher by 3 mcm to 115 mcm, and those to Belgium also gained by3 mcm to 42 mcm. Exports to France were steady at 48 mcm. The Norpipe pipeline, which brings gas from Ekofisk area toEmden terminal in Germany, is going to be shut until June 24 dueto maintenance. Production capacity on the Norwegian continental shelf isrestricted by 54 mcm per day until July 12 due to ongoingmaintenance at the country's biggest field, Troll. Norway's export figures are based on gas fed into the systemat a certain time and calculated to a daily average. Volumes canvary throughout the day as producers adjust the amount of gasthey pump.
