* Norwegian gas exports total 328 mcm/day * Flows to Britain surge by 21 mcm/day * Kollsnes gas plant ramps up after outage OSLO, Jan 30(Reuters) - Norway's natural gas exports toBritain surged on Friday from the previous day after an outageat Nyhamna gas processing plant ended, data from gas systemoperator Gassco showed. Flows to Britain, Europe's biggest traded gas market, wereup 21 million cubic metres (mcm) to 114 mcm/day by 1045 GMT. Nyhamna, which processes gas from Shell's offshoreOrmen Lange field, had its capacity reduced by 18 mcm/day due toan outage on Thursday. Meanwhile, the other gas processing plant, Kollsnes, wasunexpectedly shut due to a loss of external power supply beforemidnight on Thursday, but the plant has been ramping up since. The plant, which processes gas from Norway's biggest gasfield Troll, was expected to reach full power consumption by1000 GMT, the Nordic power exchange said earlier. Gassco said earlier the Kollsnes outage was expected to cutgas export capacity by 45 mcm/day on Friday. Norwegian real-time gas flows were running at a rate of 328mcm/day by 1045 GMT compared with the country's total productioncapacity of around 350 mcm/day, suggesting the outage's impactcould be smaller.
