HOUSTON, Feb 17 (Reuters) - The second largest crudedistillation unit at Motiva Enterprises 600,250barrel per day (bpd) Port Arthur, Texas, refinery was shut onTuesday morning due to a leak in a pipe, said sources familiarwith plant operations.
Crews on the 195,000 bpd VPS-4 crude distillation unit weretrying to determine exactly which part of the unit's piping wasleaking and how long it might take to fix it, the sources said.
The Port Arthur refinery is the nation's largest. Motiva isa 50-50 joint venture between Royal Dutch Shell Plc andSaudi Aramco. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
