** A strike at Royal Dutch Shell's 404,000 barrelsper day (bpd) Pernis refinery in the Netherlands will continueuntil at least 1100 GMT on Thursday while the union votes on anew proposal from Shell, an FNV union spokesman said.
** The strike action over a pay dispute has led to lowerproduction rates at certain units.
** A partial shutdown of the refinery's 65,000 bpd CCR2hydrocracker started on the evening of Dec. 9, with capacityexpected to be reduced by around 20 percent and to impact otherunits, including the associated crude distillation unit
