Revolution Bars Confident For 2016 Prepares To Open Three New Sites

Fri, 22nd Apr 2016 06:54

LONDON (Alliance News) - Revolution Bars Group PLC on Friday said it is preparing to open three new bars in 2016 following receipt of full licensing and planning permissions.

Work on the first of the new openings is already being done on site at Albert Dock in Liverpool, with a second opening planned in Stafford. A third site has been secured in central Reading.

The sites in Liverpool and Reading will be Revolucion de Cuba bars, and the Stafford location will be a Revolution bar.

The group currently operates 60 bars, 52 of which are Revolution and eight of which are Revolucion de Cuba.

The Liverpool and Stafford bars will open prior to Revolution's financial year-end on June 30, and the Reading bar will open in the autumn.

"I am delighted to report our expansion plans are progressing. We are encouraged with the performance of the three new Revolucion de Cuba bars opened in the first half in Milton Keynes, Leeds and Nottingham. With two more bars scheduled to open prior to the year end and the first of our 2017 financial year new sites secured in Reading for later in 2016, our new site pipeline is strong, and we remain confident of meeting our strategic growth targets," Chief Executive Mark McQuater said in a statement.
