Premier Technical Reports "Robust" Sales, High Renewals Rates

Fri, 10th May 2019 09:11

LONDON (Alliance News) - Premier Technical Services Group PLC on Friday said sales remained "robust" and contract renewal rates high in the first three months of 2019.

The company, which provides fall-arrest equipment services, lightning protection and electrical testing, also said it has secured several significant three- to five-year contracts across all divisions with new and existing customers since the start of 2019.

Major contracts secured in the first quarter include a fire solutions contract for London Underground, fixed wire testing for auto maker BMW AG, and replacement fall arrest equipment for WM Morrisons Supermarkets PLC.

"I commented in our 2018 results announcement on 26 March 2019 that 2019 had started well as we continued to deliver against our strategy to seek sector dominance in the markets we serve, which are underpinned by compliance demand. That position is unchanged, trading continues to be strong and the board remains both confident and enthusiastic about the group's prospects and performance," Chair John Foley said.

Shares in the company were up 5.8% at 73.00 pence each on Friday morning.
