IN BRIEF: Murray Income To Acquire Net Assets From Perpetual Income

Murray Income Trust PLC - investment trust - Agrees to acquire GBP427 million in net assets from Perpetual Income & Growth Investment Trust PLC for the issue of 50.9 million new shares in connection with the reconstruction of Perpetual Income & Growth.

Number of shares to be issued was calculated based on full asset value per Murray share of 838.74 pence and FAV per Perpetual share of 249.72p, producing conversion ratio of 0.297 Murray shares per Perpetual share rolling over.

Following issue, Murray Income Trust will have 117.1 million shares issued overall.

Current stock price: 830.00 pence

Year-to-date change: down 7.4%
