(Alliance News) - OptiBiotix Health PLC on Monday announced the launch of LeanBiome in sports nutrition brand, MuscleTech.
The York, England-based life sciences company said LeanBiome will be incorporated in Muscletech Nitro Tech's Ripped range, which is a protein powder "designed to support athletes who want to lose fat and build lean muscle."
LeanBiome will be launched in Europe and the UK across multiple e-commerce sites and distribution channels, OptiBiotix said.
The product is currently being advertised on social media by MuscleTech ahead of online and instore launches with multiple retailers in Sweden, France, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Greece and the UK.
OptiBiotix's LeanBiome is a "scientifically formulated sports nutrition ingredient which has been developed to "support athletes seeking to increase lean muscle mass and to change their body composition."
OptiBiotix Chief Executive Officer Stephen OHara said: "We are very pleased to announce the launch of LeanBiome with such a well-known and internationally respected sports brand such as Muscletech. Shares in OptiBiotix were up 2.0% at 25.00 pence each in London on Monday morning.
