DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: NetPlay Non-Executive Buys, Chairman Sells

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Monday.

NetPlay TV said a non-executive board member bought shares and its chairman sold shares as the gaming company reported strong results on Monday.

Non-Executive Director Andrew Lapping bought 250,000 shares at 10.25 pence per share. After the purchase Lapping has a total beneficial interest in about 4.4 million shares.

Netplay also said Non-Executive Chairman Charles Butler sold 1.0 million shares at 9.75 pence each. He now holds 2.1 million shares.

NetPlay TV Monday hiked its full-year dividend, after it reported a rise in pretax profit in 2015 coming from lower marketing expenses and impairment charges, and said strong growth was continuing into 2016.

The stock closed up 22% at 10.55p Monday.

Somero Enterprises said Chief Executive Officer Jack Cooney, together with his wife, sold 1.4 million shares, half their holding, at a price of 144 pence per share on Monday. The deal was worth around GBP2.0 million and was conducted in order to satisfy a US tax obligation. Following completion of the sale, Cooney and his wife remain interested in 1.4 million shares, representing 2.52% of the entire issued share capital of the laser-guided machinery maker. The company said Cooney has agreed he will not dispose of any of his remaining shareholding, for at least two years. The stock closed up 3.1% at 150.00p Monday.

Hikma Pharmaceuticals said Senior Independent Director Robert Pickering bought 2,500 shares at a price of 1,856 pence per share on Monday. Following this transaction, Pickering now holds 10,000 shares. The stock closed up 0.4% at 1,837.47p Monday.

Arbuthnot Banking Group said Finance Director James Cobb bought 5,000 shares at a price of 1,338 pence per share on Monday. The purchase represents Cobb's only holding in the lender. The stock closed up 0.2% at 1,308.00p Monday.

Dechra Pharmaceuticals said Chief Financial Officer Anne-Francoise Nesmes, with her spouse Jeramy Rankine, each sold 1,550 shares at 1,208 pence per share Monday. Following the sale, Nesmes's beneficial interest is 39,502 shares. Shares in the veterinary pharmaceuticals company closed up 3.4% at 1,225.00p Monday.

Advertising company M&C Saatchi said Finance Director James Hewitt sold 167,776 shares at a price of 313 pence per share on Monday as part of a divorce settlemtnent. He now holds 54,451 shares. The stock closed up 1.6% at 320.00p Monday.

Hutchison China Meditech said Non-Executive Director Edith Shih bought 40,741 American Depositary Shares at a price of USD13.50 each last Thursday. Following this transaction, Shih is beneficially interested in those 40,741 ADSs, plus 60,000 ordinary shares, together representing approximately 0.13% of the company's current issued share capital. Each ADR represents a half an ordinary share. Shares in the healthcare group closed up 0.8% at 1,875.00p Monday.

PureCircle said Head of Corporate Oon Su Tiah sold 5,000 shares at 415 pence each on Friday. Following this transaction, Tiah has an interest in 32,640 shares. Shares in the stevia sweetener maker closed down 0.5% at 416.04p Monday.

Surgical Innovations Group said Non-Executive Director Paul Hardy bought 650,000 shares at a price of 1.60 pence per share Friday. The purchase is Hardy's only holding. Shares in the surgical devices company closed up 1.7% at 1.60p Monday.
