DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Vela buys shares from MTI Wireless Edge senior team

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Lloyds Banking Group PLC - London-based lender - Vim Maru, director of Retail, sells 1.0 million shares at average GBP0.42, worth GBP415,675, on Wednesday. Andrew Walton, corporate affairs director, sells 220,411 shares at the same price, worth GBP91,484, also on Wednesday. Maru continues to hold 5.9 million shares and Walton 790,269.

MTI Wireless Edge Ltd - Israel-based communication and radio frequency solutions firm - Senior management, including Non-Executive Chair Zvi Borovitz and Chief Executive Officer Moni Borovitz, sell 3.7 million at 80p, worth GBP3.0 million. Says sales were to institutional and other investors following a series of investor meetings organised by MTI's brokers, Allenby Capital Ltd and Peterhouse Capital Ltd. Mokirei Aya Ltd, a company controlled by the Borovitz family, now is interested in 26.4 million shares, a 29.8% stake. Zvi Borovitz and Moni Borovitz also are directly interested in 1.1 million and 371,254 shares respectively, and these holdings remain unchanged. Separately, Vela Technologies PLC says it bought 250,000 of the MTI shares, a 0.3% stake, spending GBP200,000 from existing cash reserves.

Ncondezi Energy Ltd - coal-fired power project in Mozambique - Issues 4.4 million new shares to employees and contractors in lieu of deferred salaries, bonuses and contractor, adviser and consultant fees. Of these, CEO Hanno Pengilly subscribes for 3.2 million shares, paying 4.5p each for 2.0 million shares and 3.0p each for 1.2 million for a total of GBP126,000. Separately, Ncondezi says tariff negotiations continue for the Tete project, and it awaits formal feedback from Electricidade de Moçambique and the Mozambique government following its submission of studies in December. It adds that partner China Machinary Engineering Corp has reiterated its support for the project.

Elementis PLC - London-based speciality chemicals - Non-Executive Director John O'Higgins buys 60,000 shares at GBP1.20, worth GBP72,192, on Tuesday.

accesso Technology Group PLC - Berkshire-headquartered software firm for leisure and entertainment markets - CEO Steve Brown buys 13,000 shares at average 575p, worth GBP74,750, on Tuesday. Now has 678,774 shares, a 1.7% stake.

Johnson Service Group PLC - Cheshire-based textile rental - Non-Executive Director Jock Lennox buys 32,000 shares at 156.00 pence, worth GBP49,920, on Wednesday. The purchase is his only holding.

Centamin PLC - Egyptian gold miner - CEO Martin Horgan buys 25,000 shares at GBP1.05, worth GBP26,125, on Thursday. Now has 41,405 shares.

Zenith Energy Ltd - oil & gas production company focused on Africa - CEO Andrea Cattaneo buys 3.5 million shares at NOK0.12, worth NOK423,500, about GBP35,786, on Wednesday. Cattaneo now has 61.5 million shares, a 5.3% stake.

Blackbird PLC - London-based cloud video editing platform - Chief Operating & Financial Officer Stephen White buys 28,637 shares at 25.29p, worth GBP7,242, on Wednesday. Now owns 335,970 shares.

Ncondezi Energy Ltd - Mozambique-based power development company - Narrows its pretax loss in 2021 to USD1.8 million from USD2.8 million the previous year.
