Metal Tiger PLC - Winchester, England-based natural resource investor - Notes Sydney-listed Southern Gold Ltd, of which it holds 19.1% issued share capital, is in a global search for new managing director.
Southern Gold's Managing Director Simon Mitchell leaves on October 29. Global recruiter conducting search for new person to lead firm's focus on South Korean gold exploration. "In recent years Simon has managed to raise significant capital for the exploration effort, as well as recently securing the AUD13.7 million deal with BMV," says chair Greg Boulton.
Metal Tiger holds 40.8 million Southern Gold shares and 7.3 million two-year 18-cent warrants. It bought 3.0 million shares in June at an average price of ASD0.075 per share.
